“With the approaching of my parents’ 52nd wedding anniversary, I learned from my Mother while visiting my ailing Father in Ohio that there were never any printed wedding pictures from their April 21st, 1956 wedding. The only memorial of the occasion was a few 2”x2” slides taken by my great Uncle Harold that were never viewed due to their unusual size, poor condition, and age. Upon returning to Richmond, I entrusted the few sacred slides to David Proett who immediately went to work to try to resurrect the only surviving images from my parents union nearly 52 years ago.
